How does the consultation
process work?

STEP 1

FILL IN THE PROJECT QUESTIONNAIRE

Before we dive into the world of design, our journey typically begins with a bit of paperwork. You'll complete our project questionnaire, which serves as our project's warm-up exercise.

STEP 2

INITIAL CONSULTATION
(USUALLY VIA PHONE OR ONLINE)

Next up, we’ll schedule a phone call or an online meeting to explore your questionnaire responses in more detail. We'll chat about your project goals, requirements, and the budget too. This conversation plays a vital role in defining the scope of our collaboration.

STEP 3

ONSITE VISIT

I'll then arrange a site visit to assess your space thoroughly. This entails taking precise measurements, taking photographs, and examining architectural features or challenges that might pop up along the way. We'll work closely to pinpoint exactly how you want to use your space. From defining areas and space allocations to nailing down your unique needs.

STEP 4

PROJECT COST AND TIMELINE DOCUMENTATION

We'll go through the cost breakdown here and various pricing options to suit your budget. Here we'll discuss how the timeline will work inline with your personal or business needs.

ON SITE ASSESSMENT:

PROPOSED CAFE BAR SITE

Site assessment to explore business needs in further detail and to assess building and surrounding area

Imagine a client with an unused building on their sports facility site The aim: to turn that dusty old space into a buzzing hotspot! This space, 70 sqm, once served as a seating area, accompanied by a couple of vending machines and WC facilities. While the WC maintained its post, the main area used as a storage space, brimming with untapped potential. The client wanted to breathe life into this dormant structure, envisioning a vibrant social club and family café. Budget-conscious and full of aspirations, they turned to us for guidance. First, we delved into the business needs and scoped out the surrounding landscape. We soon realised there was a café-shaped gap in the local scene. What's more, we uncovered that some sports-loving patrons were bringing their little ones along, sparking some other ideas. This revelation led to a brainstorm session about maximising the space's potential. We even uncovered a smaller unused building nearby, earmarked for a future gaming hub.  To keep costs in check, we embraced resourcefulness. We decided to reuse existing materials, crafting an industrial aesthetic with a dash of retro neon charm.  Following our consultation, this project advanced to the Visualisation phase, setting its sights on the Realisation phase in 2025, pending funding.
